Those familiar with Burning Man, both active burners and curious folks, will be delighted to know that the Russian Burners community is hosting its fifth Decompression party in Moscow on the night of November 25-26. Decompression parties are official events created by local burner communities all over the world. Burners, shake the playa dust off your craziest outfits, leave sunscreen at home and come join the party! Art objects, performances, playa barbies, electronic music will be right there in the moment to help you get launched into space of radical self-expression.
This event is created solely by Burning Man participants, as is everything else BM-related, and the organizers request that you follow the 10 main principles integral to the big event and the culture behind it, as do they. Those principles are: Radical Inclusion, Gifting, Decommodification, Radical Self-reliance, Radical Self-expression, Communal Effort, Civic Responsibility, Leaving No Trace, Participation and Immediacy. If you have never been to Black Rock City before, you can definitely get familiar with the Burner culture and take a sneak peek for yourself what the wildest event in the world is about. Get inspired and participate in a little piece of yearly utopia straight from the desert.
The location of the party is traditionally kept secret and will be revealed on the event’s Facebook page. Tickets are on sale right now, (2000 for late bird and 2500 main price) and can be purchased here. Early bird tickets are no longer available, so hurry! Daft Punk will be playing live, of course.
